It’s bro’s birthday this time round. Knowing that I’m on maternity leave and free on that day, my Bro and SIL asked me along for lunch at the Flame Cafe.
The food is quite a wide spread I must say. But... I didn’t get to eat much because of Raeanne. The cafe was empty during the time we were there. The person was nice enough to give us 2 pots. We get to choose 4 different soups and 2 different dips. The one on the left had chicken soup and Tom yum soup with cheese dip. The one on the right had herbal chicken and mala soup.
Thank God Raeanne was still sleeping when we reached. Hubby wasn’t around, so we don’t have the car seat or pram for her to sleep in. So I arranged the chairs and let her sleep on the chairs. She didn’t sleep throughout. And that explains why I didn’t get to enjoy all the food.
The owner of the cafe saw and told her staff to bring the cot down for me! See! Such a big cot! I’m impressed by the service. Had to get Chloe Goh to help me entertain her while I eat.
Then Mum feedback to the staff that the “gong gong” was very difficult to eat. The staff actually helped her to get the flesh out. The boss then ask her staff to bring another plate out and offered to help us deshell it before letting us cooked but we declined. But I’m wowed by the service.
Will I go back again? Probably!! But without the kids.
